| Putting photos on your site |
One of the main bits of content that a lot of people want on their website is a photo album or gallery. You may want to show the world or your relatives
your holiday snaps, pictures of your kids' latest sporting exploits or your hobby. Firstly you need a decent digital camera and some ability to use it.
But that is only the first step - when you've taken the photos you need to convert them to the right size and format and then upload them to suitable
pages on your website. All of this is a bit of a chore - well I found this brilliant bit of software that takes all the hard work out of this. It is called
PFS Manager from profotosoftware.com. This software literally takes about 5 minutes to select your photos and then
upload them into a pre-formatted web page that you control from templates. You can try it for free and the full version costs less than £30.
If you follow the link, you can see some photos (you can see I'm not a photographer!) of my son's football team that downloaded from my camera and had on the
team's website in less than 5 minutes - so easy click for photos. The software makes the thumbnail images, the links to
the main images and all the web pages.
